I hope you're not missing school too much. Here are some ideas that can help you with your home learning.
Spend 30 minutes reading each day, or more if you can. You can now take your quizzes at home using accelerated reader so you can work towards reaching your target!
Try to learn your tables for at least 15 minutes a day, using TT Rockstars when you can.
Homework tasks have been set for everybody on MyMaths. You may have completed some of these tasks before, but it will do you no harm to do them again as revision. Any children who have scored less than 70% on a task, which has been attempted previously, should have another go at it. For new tasks, please ensure that you complete the lesson before the task as this will help you. It might also be useful to practise the homework before completing it, especially if it something that you are not too confident with.
Some English, maths and science activities have also been set under the homework section of Education City, the majority of which are tablet friendly.
Please be mindful that lots of children across the country are trying to use these sites, so you may have trouble accessing them. Please be patient and keep checking.
Missing you all already, stay safe, be kind and keep washing those hands!
Hopefully see you soon,

We are writers
We have been drafting and editing our stories from another culture, based on the book Journey to Jo’burg by Beverley Naidoo.
We are scientists
We have been investigating factors that affect air resistance by making and testing parachutes.
We learnt all about water resistance and the impact it has on objects. We made boats to test the effects of water resistance and raced them to see which would be the fastest.
We are dancers
We have been enjoying our dance lessons with Strike Dance, check out our salsa moves 💃🏻
We are musicians
Thank you to Rosy for teaching us all about African music. Here is our fantastic rendition of ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight.’
