Trauma experienced by family carers of people with learning disabilities and autistic people

A new co-produced trauma awareness raising resource will be offered as part of a workshop facilitated jointly by a family carer and a professional. In this filmed resource, funded by NHS England, family carers describe a range of their own experiences of trauma in a new resource, co-produced with family carers. This 2 hour co-facilitated training session will share a range of experiences from family carers, to promote awareness and understanding of the impact and what actions can be taken.
